Turbos + coolant

Just picked up a "17 Q50 3.0t Signature, it seemed that it was leaking the blue stuff but couldn't find from where. Did the whole pressure test thing, nothing showed. I'm pretty sure it is not the head gasket (oil looks fine) Then I read in the car fax that both turbos were replaced shortly before selling it. I guess what I am asking is it possible for a Nissan tech to replace the T's but forget the coolant. I know the system is a closed loop but are the reservoirs & radiator not all connected?

Putting it simply, they are completely separate cooling systems.

You should pressure test both cooling systems, left for charge air, right for engine as you look at the engine bay.

The 2 systems are seperate and run at very different temps, generally 100ish for engine coolant and 50ish for charge air (depending on how hard it is being used of course)

Where is the “blue stuff” coming from? Where do you see it? Pictures might help.

The intercooler side coolant needs to be vacuum filled. You might have an air pocket. If your losing coolant from the engine side check the water pump.
