Hey im new here so glad to introduce myself.
Ive had my Q50 for just short of a year now and am finally getting around to doing the chrome delete. I have done a bunch of research and cant set my mind on which route i want to go.
I have seen mixed reviews on doing a vinyl wrap to chrome delete the side window trims.
So i have been looking at the "HRS 2014-23 Infiniti Q50 Chrome Delete Kit - The Elite Series" kit. After scrolling the forums i found that there are steel ones?? I kind of had my heart set on spending the $150 for the hard plastic quick stick on kit that HRS offers but noticed there is not many reviews or much info.
I want to know:
If doing some sort of stick on kit is the HRS ABS plastic kit good or should i just go with the steels? (if so please add recommendations in that same $150 or less range)
Is vinyl wrap going to just be better for convenience even though it may start to peel and need redone?
If vinyl wrapping should i have a shop do this, buy a precut, or get a roll of like 2-3 in vinyl and do it myself.
For context i have never vinyl wrapped anything, i dont foresee trims being too difficult but just want it to look good.
All advice and recommendations are appreciated!
