Hey all,
I’ve got an LSD going in shortly and I’m certain I’m still not going to hook. I’m currently running Firestone Firehawk Indy500’s with 275’s in the rear and 245’s in the front. The car before I put it up to change the diff did not grip at all, traction was constantly kicking in even in third/fourth gear. I’ve yet to see this change as the car isn’t back up and running yet— maybe it will. Regardless, I’m curious as to what everyone is running for street tires on their Q, especially in tuned and LSD applications, and what your results are. What do you guys recommend for grip on launch?

+1 on the ECS02. They're a great street tire, but they will chunk with high heat and abuse. I'm currently running Yoko AD09s.

The Indy 500s are already one of the top UHP Summer tires, you'd need to step up to the Pilot Sport 4S or the ESC02 to get more without going for a true R-compound or race tires to get more grip and those come with a lot of down sides (price, noise, wear).

That said I'd wait to see how everything performance once the LSD is installed, traction is always going to be an issue on the street in a RWD Car with a tune. Those small turbos spin up too soon and create crazy amounts of torque so you are always fighting against traction with it.
